Why your CoS requests depend on your next care enquiry: increasing care enquiries and maintaining your sponsored workforce

Every sponsored worker comes with a promise: guaranteed hours and pay. You can only keep that promise if new residents and clients keep coming through the door. Several recent sponsor licence revocations came down to providers not having enough work to give their sponsored workers.
And since July 2025, providers can no longer recruit care workers from overseas, so the sponsored team you have today is far harder to replace.
That makes every enquiry count. Yet around a third of family calls to care homes go unanswered, and many enquiries are lost before a visit is ever booked.
In this practical session, Lottie will share what drives enquiries and placements across thousands of care services, and how to stop losing families along the way. Borderless Immigration will explain what the Home Office expects when hours change, how to keep your licence safe if they do, and how to make a strong Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) request.
What you’ll leave with
- What families look for when choosing care: what makes them enquire, book a visit, or call the next provider instead
- Where you’re losing enquiries, from unanswered and out-of-hours calls to slow follow-up and lost leads, and simple fixes that don’t add to your team’s workload
- How to keep demand steady: spotting quiet periods early, before they affect your team’s hours
- What to do when hours drop: your reporting duties, the salary rules on a CoS, and the records the Home Office checks first
Join us on Thursday 12 November at 11am (UK time) for the session.
