The routes on our list
None of these is live yet. Each description is a short summary of the route as it stands today, so you can see whether it’s one you need.
Global Talent
Leaders in their field
For leaders and potential leaders in academia and research, arts and culture, and digital technology. Most applicants need an endorsement first.
Scale-up
Hires at fast-growing businesses
For people with a job offer of at least six months from an approved scale-up business. After the first six months, they can change job without telling the Home Office, and extend without a new sponsor.
Settlement
Indefinite leave to remain (ILR)
Lets someone stay in the UK without a time limit. Our advisers can give guidance on settlement today, but we don’t handle ILR applications yet. The Home Office has proposed changes to when people qualify.
British citizenship
Naturalisation
For people who’ve settled. Most must usually have lived in the UK for 12 months after getting indefinite leave to remain.

Questions we’re often asked
Can Borderless help with these routes today?
Not yet, apart from guidance. Our advisers can give general guidance on settlement, but we don’t handle ILR applications yet, and the other routes aren’t live on Borderless today.
When will each route open?
We don’t have dates to share. We’ll only announce one once it’s confirmed, and people who’ve registered interest hear first.
What happens after we register interest?
We add you to the list for each route you choose, and email you when it opens on Borderless.
Does registering commit us to anything?
No. It tells us what you need, and nothing more.
Can you help with dependants of sponsored workers?
Yes. We handle partner and child applications alongside the sponsored worker’s own. Whether someone can bring dependants depends on their visa route, and each dependant has their own Home Office fee and Immigration Health Surcharge. Your adviser checks eligibility before anything is submitted.
