Questions we’re often asked
Which HR systems connect?
HiBob and Sona today. If your team uses a different HR system, tell us which one when you book a tour of the platform and we’ll talk you through the options.
Can we choose who is brought in?
Yes. You can filter which employees sync and map the field that marks sponsorship, so only sponsored employees come in.
Does a change in our HR system go straight to the Home Office?
No. Borderless reads records and documents from your HR system. It doesn’t report anything to the Home Office on its own.
Who sets the connection up?
An account admin can connect it in Settings, following the in-app guide for your HR system. No setup call is needed.
What if our HR system isn’t listed?
We can import your records and talk about the right setup for your team.
