Questions we’re often asked
Can head office see every home?
Yes. Each home and licence gets its own health score, and head office sees them all in one view, while each home manages its own care workers.
Can we still sponsor care workers from overseas?
Not for care worker and senior care worker roles. New applications from overseas closed on 22 July 2025. Roles such as registered nurses, doctors, therapists and social workers can still be sponsored from overseas.
Can a care worker already in the UK switch to us?
Yes, until 22 July 2028, if they’ve worked for you for at least three months before you assign the Certificate of Sponsorship and they meet the other criteria. Your adviser checks each case first.
Can our sponsored care workers extend?
Yes. Care workers you already sponsor can extend with you. Borderless tracks every end date and starts extensions early.
