Our story
From an idea to 900+ UK businesses
We started with UK care providers. Today we support employers across care, technology, hospitality, construction, and more, backed by investors, partners, and mentors who share the mission.
2022
Founded at Entrepreneur First
Matthew and Jonathan met at Entrepreneur First in September 2022, and founded Borderless that December to support UK care providers.
May 2023
£2.5M raised
We raised £2.5M in investment from leading investors in the UK, Europe, and the US.
March 2024
A government contract
Borderless secured a government contract to further deliver our technology platform.
Summer 2024
300+ organisations
We were working with 300+ organisations, who had supported more than 2,000 people through sponsorship.
December 2024
400+ organisations
Borderless was supporting 400+ organisations and 3,000+ individuals with sponsorship.
Spring 2025

What does Borderless do?
We help UK employers apply for a sponsor licence, sponsor workers on Skilled Worker and Health and Care Worker visas, and stay compliant afterwards. Our platform keeps every worker, document, and deadline on one record, and IAA-regulated immigration advisers review the work.
Is Borderless regulated?
Yes. Our immigration advisers are regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority, reference F202309005, and you can find us on the IAA register.
