Who it’s for / Finance
Sponsorship costs you can plan for
Sponsorship mixes Home Office fees, per-hire work and ongoing compliance, and the bills rarely arrive when you expect them. Borderless prices each part separately, shows government fees up front, and tracks the refunds you’re owed.

Where costs surprise you
The costs that catch finance out
Most sponsorship costs are predictable once you can see them. The problem is usually that nobody can.
Government fees
Fees that rose in 2025 and 2026
The Immigration Skills Charge rose by 32% in December 2025, and visa and licence fees went up again in April 2026.
Refunds
Charges you could claim back
When a sponsored worker’s plans change, part of the Immigration Skills Charge can be refunded, but only if someone claims it.
Outside firms
Hourly bills for routine work
Sponsors that rely on outside firms often pay by the hour for work that a platform and an adviser can do as standard.

in Immigration Skills Charge refunds recovered for Cornerstone
Cornerstone · ISC refunds
When a sponsored worker’s plans change, part of the Immigration Skills Charge can be refunded, but only if someone claims it. We tracked Cornerstone’s refunds and claimed them back.

Each part of Borderless is priced on the thing that drives the work.
01
A plan sized to your workforce
The platform subscription is priced by the number of people you sponsor, with a minimum term of 12 months.
02
Per-hire pricing that improves
Certificates and visa applications for the hires you plan this year, and the more you plan for, the less each one costs.
03
Government fees shown up front
Home Office fees, the Immigration Skills Charge and the health surcharge are paid directly and made clear before anything is submitted.
04
Refunds tracked
We spot Immigration Skills Charge refunds you’re owed, and your fees and refunds report keeps them in one place.
05
Reports you can export
Sponsored workers, compliance gaps, and fees and refunds, exported as CSV files.
06
Fewer compliance risks
A civil penalty for illegal working can reach £60,000 per worker. Records checked against Appendix D lower that risk.

Questions we’re often asked
How is Borderless priced?
A monthly subscription sized to the workforce you sponsor, plus a price for the visa applications you plan, which improves the more you commit to. Licences and expert services are priced separately.
Are Home Office fees included?
No. Government fees, including the Immigration Skills Charge and the Immigration Health Surcharge, are paid directly to the Home Office and shown before anything is submitted.
Can we claim back the Immigration Skills Charge?
Sometimes. If a sponsored worker doesn’t start, or their visa is refused, part of the charge can be refunded. Borderless flags the refunds you’re owed.
Is there a minimum term?
Yes. Plans run for a minimum of 12 months.
