Every sponsored worker and deadline in one place
HR usually owns sponsorship without owning the rules behind it. Borderless keeps every sponsored worker’s documents, visa dates and reportable changes on one record, and IAA-regulated immigration advisers review anything that goes to the Home Office.

Where it gets hard
Sponsorship lands on HR’s desk
The duties sit with your organisation, and in practice most of them land with the people team.
Records
Files that drift out of date
Right to work evidence, payslips and contact details have to stay current for every sponsored worker, not just at the start.
Deadlines
Changes with a 10-day clock
A pay cut, a new work location or a leaver has to be reported to the Home Office within 10 working days.
Questions
Rules that keep changing
Salary thresholds, English requirements and eligible roles have all changed since July 2025, and managers ask HR first.
The checking and chasing, taken off your desk
Borderless does the routine work, and your adviser handles the judgement calls.
01
Halo, your compliance dashboard
A compliance score for every sponsored worker, with expiring documents and gaps shown in one view.
02
Smart document upload
Upload up to 250 documents at once, and Borderless sorts them and matches each one to the right worker for you to confirm.
03
Changes reported for you
Mark a leaver or change a salary, and the report is pre-filled. Borderless then reports it on the SMS on your behalf.
04
Right to work, recorded
Upload a share code result or document copy, and it’s validated straight away, with follow-ups booked before permission ends.
05
A named adviser
An IAA-regulated immigration adviser you can ask, who reviews anything before it goes to the Home Office.
06
Access for each team
Give managers access to the businesses and sites they need, as an Owner, Editor or Viewer.

“Borderless has removed the stress of sponsorship and compliance. Now I can focus on recruiting the right people instead of worrying about the process.”
Questions we’re often asked
Does Borderless take on our sponsor duties?
No. Your organisation stays responsible for its duties, and your key personnel stay named on the licence. Borderless gives your team the checks, the deadlines and an adviser to review what goes to the Home Office.
Can line managers use it?
Yes. You can give each person access to the businesses and sites they need, with Owner, Editor or Viewer permissions.
Do we still need to log in to the SMS?
Less often. Once Borderless is added as a Level 1 user, we assign certificates and report changes on the SMS for you. You still need at least one Level 1 user of your own.
Does it connect to our HR system?
HiBob and Sona connect on Pro and Expert plans. If you use something else, you can bulk import your records.
