How we look after your licence, your data, and your people

Borderless is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority, works under UK GDPR, and keeps a person in charge of every decision. Everything here is written so you can check it for yourself.

Immigration mistakes cost careers and licences. Here’s how we’re regulated, how we protect data, and where AI sits in the work.

Accountability

01 · Regulated advice

Advice from people who answer to a regulator

Borderless is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority. Every case has a named immigration adviser, and an adviser reviews anything before it goes to the Home Office.

02 · Data protection

Your workers’ data, handled under UK GDPR

Sponsorship means holding passports, payslips, and addresses. We process that data under UK GDPR, and only for the work you ask us to do.

03 · Security

Security you can check, not just take on trust

Borderless is hosted on AWS and Google Cloud, in UK data centres run by providers certified to ISO/IEC 27001. We use strict access controls, encryption and multi-factor authentication, and test our defences with regular penetration testing and security audits.

04 · Responsible AI

AI helps. People make the calls

Iris, our AI assistant, explains and suggests. It doesn’t decide your case or submit anything on its own. An IAA-regulated adviser reviews the work, and you approve it.

05 · Accountability

A record of who did what, and when

Every step on Borderless is logged, from the first document to the final submission. If something goes wrong, there’s a clear way to raise it.
