Your complete guide to always-on compliance and audit-readiness

The Home Office can carry out a compliance visit announced or unannounced, and when it does, it wants records, not reassurances. For an employer with dozens or hundreds of sponsored workers, audit-readiness can't be a project you run once a year. Worker changes have to be reported within 10 working days, changes to your organisation within 20, and the documents listed in Appendix D of the sponsor guidance have to be current for every sponsored worker.
This session is a practical guide to always-on compliance: the records to keep, the reporting routine that stops things slipping, and how to share ownership across HR, payroll and line managers without losing control. Every attendee gets an audit-readiness checklist, plus live Q&A with our IAA-regulated immigration adviser.
Join the session at 11am UK on 27 October 2026.
What you'll learn
- The Appendix D records the Home Office expects to see, and how to keep them current across a large sponsored workforce.
- The reporting deadlines that catch larger sponsors out, including the 10 and 20 working day windows.
- How to build a monthly compliance routine that doesn't depend on one person's memory.
- How to run a mock audit, so an unannounced visit finds nothing you haven't already fixed.
