The past year has been a big one for Borderless.
We’ve tripled revenue year over year and 10x since we got a sponsor licence, grown our customer base across multiple sectors, and supported more employers than ever to hire and scale with confidence.
What’s been most exciting isn’t just the growth itself — it’s how we’ve grown.
As the UK immigration landscape has become more complex and enforcement has increased, more employers are realising that access to global talent isn’t just a hiring issue. It’s an operational one.
At Borderless, we leaned into that early. By building the right systems and hiring globally with confidence, we were able to scale our own team quickly while staying focused on compliance and risk. That same approach is now helping hundreds of customers do the same — from fast-growing startups to large, multi-site employers.
The shift we’re seeing is clear:
the companies that grow fastest treat immigration as infrastructure, not admin.
Looking ahead, we’re continuing to invest in our platform, our in-house immigration expertise, and the tools employers need to scale safely in a changing regulatory environment.
Sharing the Playbook
As part of that, I’m hosting a short, founder-led session to share what we’ve learned building Borderless and working closely with high-growth teams:
The Founder’s Playbook: How to Turn a Sponsor Licence into a 10× Revenue Lever
Date: Tuesday, January 27th
I’ll be covering:
- what we got right (and wrong) as we scaled
- the patterns we see across high-growth employers
- how teams are using global hiring to unlock growth
- how to scale without increasing compliance risk
If you’re building a company that plans to grow internationally, I hope it’s useful.
